Amending my review because I shouldn't hold my personal feelings about the greediness of the owner against the store itself. CVM employees really kind and helpful people and they have a deli where they make fantastic food. They recently lowered their prices of even large sized fountain drinks from 1.99 to .99¢ and I am extremely grateful. The only real negatives (aside from all the hunting trophies):I do think they currently have some cigarettes at the wrong price (Marlboro Blacks I'm looking at you) and they oddly don't accept mobile coupons despite an entire upgrade of registers/ scanners etc about a year ago.
Its extremely convenient and the workers/cashiers are always very nice. They make amazing pizza. However, the owner is fully aware of just how convenient and necessary a store like this is in a town of this size and seems to take advantage (and that's the last thing I'll say about that)
Be sure to check out the attached hardware store. The owner has done big game hunting and has many trophies hanging on the walls inside of the store.

All in all I love Capon Valley and am so thankful for it. Ohhh and their breakfast pizza is AHMAZING!
They have a wide variety of good food, snacks and drinks. A very friendly staff that will take you on a tour of splendidly prepared taxidermy wildlife from many countries, in the attached hardware store.
Best cold cut sandwich on the planet.
Friendly employees. Deli is great! Only downside is the breakfast sandwiches in the warmer. Soggy fake egg on just plain sandwich bread that is also soggy and not worth eating. I've also noticed that if the price tag on an item says one thing, it will ring up higher at the register.
We love it. Love the people and the pizzas (breakfast & regular) and all the food they have in their deli. Love that its open 24 hours. Not sure what the random yard sake items always by the counter for cash only are about but we ignore it. Awesome slushies, too! Convenience items (cat food, sharp cheese, milk, tape, aspirin) is overpriced but that's at every convenience store. Never had a bad experience here
